1. What information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact/lead information: name, email, phone number, and message, submitted via our chat widget or contact form.
• Freelancer application information: full name, phone numbers, email, parents' names, date and place of birth, current address (city/state/country), native and spoken/written languages, and the role you're applying for.
• Payment information (selected candidates only): bank name, account number, IFSC code, UPI ID, and branch address, submitted only after you've been confirmed as selected.
• Basic usage data: the page you were on when you submitted a form, and cookie preferences (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How we use your information

• To respond to inquiries and provide requested services
• To evaluate freelancer/employee applications and, if selected, process payments
• To communicate updates about a project, application, or engagement
• To improve our website and services

3. Where your information is stored

Form submissions on this website are sent directly to a private Google Sheet, accessible only to authorized SpireEdu team members, using Google's infrastructure (Google Sheets and Google Apps Script) as our data processor. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Sensitive documents (Aadhaar/PAN and similar)

Selected freelancers/employees may be asked to submit government identity documents (such as Aadhaar and PAN card images) as part of onboarding, handled through a separate, access-restricted process described at the time of collection. These documents are used solely for verification and compliance purposes and are not published or shared outside our internal team.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at hello@spireedu.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected — for example, for the duration of an active engagement plus a reasonable period for record-keeping, or until you request deletion.

8. International data

Because we serve students and clients across multiple countries, information may be processed in India and stored on Google's servers, which may be located in other jurisdictions.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
